TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Bridgeport, West Virginia, 26330 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour days, weekends as scheduled Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required to submit Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Experience with various drips - Copy of unexpired driver's license - Familiarity with telemetry monitoring - No false nails Job Description: - Work in a 36-bed cardiac/telemetry unit where all patients are telemetry monitored. - Provide care for patients with diagnoses such as rule out myocardial infarction, chest pain, post angioplasty, post heart catheterization, congestive heart failure, and atrial fibrillation. - Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1 in 14 of the unit's beds. - Administer common drips including Dopamine, Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitroglycerin/Tridil. - Utilize Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR for charting. - Offer acute care in a Level 2 trauma setting.
