TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: NC or Compact license required at time of start Certifications: ACLS; NIH preferred Must-Have: - Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience - Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring - Pre/Post Cardiac Cath and Surgery experience - Sheath removal, port access, and central line management - Blood product administration and cardiac drip management - Ability to titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone - Must pass EKG testing prior to start Job Description: - Manage patient care for those with Congestive Heart Failure, Arrhythmias, and Post-cardiac Cath - Monitor and administer cardiac drips such as Dobutamine, Amiodarone, and Cardizem - Perform special procedures like sheath pulls, TR Bands, and Femstop - Utilize systems such as Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR for medication, documentation, and communication - Follow self-scheduling protocols - Participate in a 24-hour unit orientation - Wear navy scrubs while on duty - Expected to work 5-6 weekend shifts, equating to every other weekend - Must be available to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters - Potential to float within hospital units or to nearby affiliate hospitals based on skill set and census?? 26189672EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing As a travel nurse, you'll work in various healthcare settings, gaining exposure to diverse patient populations, medical procedures, and healthcare systems.
