RN Unit ManagerLocated In Brooklyn, NYAn elegant long term care, skilled nursing facility located near Brooklyn NY is looking for compassionate and professional RN Unit ManagerSalary: $105,000 to $110,000As an RN Unit Manager you will be responsible for:Managing individualized resident care by promoting and monitoring residents' health through the nursing process.Utilizes clinical resources in implementing patient care and provides rationale for patient care decisions.Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to resolve all residents' problems and needsProviding physical and psychological support to patients and their family membersMonitoring residents' conditions and administering medication & treatmentsSupervising assigned team members.Completes Frequent Observations and the Intake/Outtake Record according to established protocols.Performs related duties, as required.Requirements:Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NYPast experience working as an RN Unit Manager in a Long Term Care Nursing FacilityKnowledge of EMR systemsBCLS, ACLS or PALS, required.Excellent communication skills
