Join the power movement as a Robotic Welding Operator Working in the Robotic Weld Cell, you will be responsible for operating the robotic weld equipment. You will play a crucial role in accurately running welding applications and programs, adhering to our quality standard and ensuring optimal performance and safety in the production process. Hours: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Work 3 weekend days Rate of pay: $30 - $41 per hour + 15% differential
\n What you'll do:Responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and operation of robotic welding equipmentResponsible for running programs and adjusting minor program changesMonitor weld quality and efficiency, and reworking parts if necessaryPerform manual welding in flat, vertical, horizontal and overhead positionsTroubleshoots equipment the including welders, wire feed system, tips, and torchGuarantee that procedures are followed and recordedFollow safety guidelines set forth by the companyFollow all company policies in accordance with the employee handbook What we're looking for:A minimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferredMust have experience with 6- axis robots at a minimumOperating and troubleshooting of welding equipmentBe able to adjust programs for quality issues or machine issuesExperienced with GTAW and GMAWA solid understanding of production and organizational methodsFine-tuned communication skillsAbility to remember processes and materials used in the building processHigh School Diploma or GED desired Bonus points for: Familiarity with Robotic Arc Welding Safety StandardsExperience with SMAW, and FCAWExperience with welding for pressure vessel, and/or nuclear applicationsExperience operating mechanized, automated, or robotic welding equipmentExperience using laser cleanersBe AWS QC19 CRAW-O or CRAW-T certified or possess working knowledge of programing and operation of welding robotsProficiency welding stainless steel and aluminum alloysExperience with heavy lifts and riggingThe ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentationExcellent attention to detailKnowledge of various forms of welding equipment and proceduresThe capacity to work unsupervisedA detailed understanding of mathematical and numerical data and calculationsProject and time management Must-have Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyPerform activities such as stooping, typing, standing, and sitting for extended periods of timeDedication to safety to mitigate industrial hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenicsWillingness to travel occasionally or do required nights/weekends/on-call
