Position Description:Assist with implementation and maintenance of Information Security controls.
Provide first level actions in response to security alerts.


Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
Assist with construction surveying activities under direction of Survey Party Chief.
Hold measuring devices during construction layout activities.
Establish points by installing physical markers.
Prepare surveying equipment for use.
Remove obstructions during construction layout activities.
Measure distance between points using measuring tape or electronic equipment.
Move and adjust position of survey equipment.
Maintain and clean surveying equipment including tracking of calibrations.
Ensure security of equipment and work area while conducting operations.
Inventory supplies and give supply orders to Survey Party Chief for re-stocking.
Display high level of teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations.
Fully understand work instructions, project signage, and safety instructions from tool and equipment manufacturers and prepare and inspect tools prior use to ensure safe and working condition.
Participate in daily Pre-Task Plans, follow safety expectations for operation of equipment and tools, select appropriate equipment for performing work, adhere to safety protocols to perform work, and wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment).
Identify, communicate, and escalate problems and issues to supervisor for immediate resolution.
Maintain positive working relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (or in pursuit of) from accredited degree program in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Management Information Services (MIS), or related field, and minimum of 1 year of information security experience, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training Familiar with incident response and system monitoring and analysis Effective active listening skills and follow-up practices Capacity to understand legacy and progressive technology and security controls along with respective risk desired Familiar with technologies such as cloud computing, DevSecOps, and application security desired Basic decision-making skills with problem-solving mindset High degree of integrity, maintain confidential information, and exercise discretion Quick learner to adopt process and technology enhancements Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences, and tailor communications appropriately Ability to work calmly under pressure and with tight deadlines Professionally interact with all employee levels and management Approachable and customer service-oriented with proactive and professional attitude Professional verbal and written communication skills Work independently with supervision, and in collaborative team environment Limited travel

Frequently: Reaching above shoulder height, pushing/pulling, climbing, crawling, repetitive motion, and working on heights.
Occasionally: Sitting, confined space hazards, and lifting/lowering/carrying weights 25-50 lbs.
