RN - Respiratory Registered Nurse $36.50 - $46.09/hr. The RRN position offers a competitive salary, a convenient and flexible Monday - Friday day-shift work schedule, and full benefits. Eklego is proud to partner with an organization in the greater Albany area of New York State who is currently and confidentially seeking a Respiratory RRN (Registered Nurse). In this Full Time, Monday - Friday role, the RRN will perform and direct respiratory resident care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility and as planned by the MDS Coordinator to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
The RRN will assist in the care of respiratory patients including the respiratory process, assessment, care planning, and ongoing support. Ongoing support will include, but not be limited to BiPAP, CPAP, and monitoring adherence as outlined in the RAI Manual O-26. The goal for each patient on respiratory care will be for the residents to maintain as much independence as possible in self-care, mobility, and communication. The RRN will also complete MDS-related interviews.
The RRN is directly accountable to the MDS Coordinator and secondarily to the Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Nursing. Additional guidance may be provided at times by the Assistant Director of Nursing, RN Supervisors, Unit Coordinators, and MDS RNs. Administrative Committee Personnel Nursing Care Staff Development Safety and Sanitation Equipment and Supplies Care Plan and Observation Resident Rights Working Conditions Qualified Candidates will have: Current NYS RN License and be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing Familiarity with MDS Processes Experience with Electronic Medical Records Prior Critical Care or Pulmonary experience preferred
