JOB SUMMARY Examines patients with breathing-related conditions and conducts diagnostic testing. Consults with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan for the patient. Performs physiotherapy and other treatments and teaches patients to use medications.
Qualifications Minimum Education:
Two years of college, or technical school, or successful completion of AARC approved Certification Program Required.
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; preferred to include ACLS, PALS, and NRP training and certification.
Licenses:
State of Tennessee RRT or CRT (ABG endorsed).
