Private ophthalmology practice in beautiful Southern Ohio seeking a full time comprehensive ophthalmologist.
Portsmouth is a college town of 18,000 in a county of 88,000 two hours from Columbus, Cincinnati, or Huntington. The practice has been established since 2002 and recently began office based surgery in March, 2024 with Joint Commission accreditation obtained in Oct., 2024. This is a small Ohio community with a low cost of living and a great quality of life.
There is a fully booked schedule with a healthy backlog: 100+ patient encounters/week, 600-700 cataracts/year, and 300+ other procedures/year in office. Another medical ophthalmologist practices in the building and shares space and staff.
Salary could be base with commission or establish your own business with rent.
