Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for the successful production of all aspects, both Talent and Technical, of the assigned event including but not limited to requested internal events, private functions as well as televised events held on Universal Orlando Properties. Provides a Positive Guest Experience by assuring that the event meets Universal Orlando Standards of Excellence.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the execution of each event assigned including installation and strike (includes creation of post notes, event documentation, reviews, payroll and budget closeout internal/external), calling the show and providing communication with all necessary counterparts within Universal Orlando. Responsible for the postproduction and strike of events. Responsible for events off of UO property which includes any and all travel.
Responsible for creating and/or managing of production schedules, budgets, staffing plans, rental and/or purchasing agreements.
Accountable for possessing working knowledge of the operational aspects of all three Universal Properties (UIOA USF & CW). Responsible for the technical needs of the event including staging, audio, lighting, rigging, special effects and pyrotechnics.
Responsible for networking with the essential departments and individuals necessary to execute the event in accordance with the goal concept and vision. Including but not limited to organizing and monitoring the recruitment and selection process for Marquee Events. Accountable to communicate with the appropriate Technical Management to assess issues and problem solve.
Accountable for managing the talent, technical and administrative personnel needed to execute the event including external talent. This includes, but is not limited to, training, mentoring, scheduling and reviewing those individuals assigned to the event.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required.
Bachelor's degree (BA) theatrical design technology / production management preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years previous supervisory or managerial experience in Entertainment/Theme Park industry required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
