Teammate Safety is responsible for the health and safety of our fellow teammates, proactively working to reduce injuries and ensure every teammate goes home safely. A Teammate Safety Advisor will work on creating new projects and initiatives to assist with injury reduction. They will be responsible for developing safety trainings, responding to OSHA complaints and citations, as well as creating policies and guidelines surrounding any newly developed safety programs.
Responsibilities: Develop, coordinate and create safety training and injury prevention training for field operators.Track participation and effectiveness of training tools and identify improvement opportunities.Update training materials to meet industry standards and legal requirements.Identify opportunities for cost savings and process efficiencies by working in collaboration with other departments including Workers Compensation and Clinical Education.Drive a "safety first" culture across the team and organization as a whole.Partner with Legal, Risk and Clinical Education teams to develop programs that ensure a safe workplace including safety orientations, skill training, proper job instruction, hazardous material disposal procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment.Analyze and evaluate training needs and assess the effectiveness of training programs.Assist with analyzing injury trends and metrics, including in-depth root cause analysis.Assist with any OSHA complaints and/or citations and ensure responses are appropriate and sent in a timely manner.Develop and update safety policies and procedures to regulations, best practices, and corporate policy.Provide guidance on OSHA, safety, and compliance standards and best practices.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. 0-2 years experience.1-3 years' experience in a safety-related position, specifically with involvement in injury prevention and OSHA standards.Experience in instructional design, including understanding how to create engaging and effective training materials.Strong analytical and organizational skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability and a high level of detail orientation.Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively educate and engage teammates at all levels.Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.Experience with learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools.Here is what you can expect when you join our Village:

Salary/ Wage Range: $56,500.00 - $83,000.00 / year. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
