The SHE Technician - Security will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, employees, and assets by monitoring, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive safety protocols and physical security measures. This role will require close collaboration with internal teams, third-party vendors, and external security providers to ensure all security systems and practices comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Your key responsibilities
Assist with the development and implementation of safety programs, policies, and training including.
Drive participation in behavioral observation programs and present data and trends based on findings from the program.
Investigate incidents, accidents, or near-misses, coordinate standardized root cause analyses and provide detailed reports with recommended corrective actions.
Participate in Audits from clients and regulatory agencies.
Develop, review and revise robust security protocols and standards
Conduct regular inspections and audits of security measures and equipment.

You bring
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Security Management, or related field, or relevant experience.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), or physical security-related certifications (e.g., Certified Security Technician) are highly desirable.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a health and safety role with a focus on physical security systems and third-party security guard services.
Proven experience managing or coordinating security systems, physical security inspections, or working closely with third-party security contractors.
Strong understanding of physical security technologies, access control, surveillance systems, and alarm systems.
Practical experience in health, safety and environmental areas including lockout-tagout-tryout, work at heights, lifting and hoisting, inspections and audits of the safety program, root cause analysis, health risk assessment, risk reduction training, hazard communication, industrial hygiene, etc.; proven track record of success establishing meaningful, interpersonal relationships through the ability to influence, with personnel at all levels.
