Assist Superintendents and Project Managers in developing Job Hazard Analyses and safe work plans.
Identify and control hazardous conditions and unsafe activities, providing recommendations for improvement.
Supervise and implement site-specific safety programs, risk assessments, and emergency procedures.
Conduct and implement site-specific orientation training for staff and subcontractors.
Ensure proper start-up of the project, including posting labor and safety signage.
Submit site safety inspection reports.
Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal OSHA requirements and RO's safety standards.
Conduct and document daily safety inspections, ensuring team compliance.
Investigate and document incidents involving property damage, personal injury, and safety violations.
Lead incident analysis with a focus on root causes and lessons learned.
Accompany OSHA compliance officers and insurance inspectors during audits.
Evaluate subcontractor qualifications and training programs, providing recommendations.
Assist in developing and managing the project safety budget.
Evaluate project safety performance and guide corrective actions.
Collaborate with Corporate and Regional Safety Directors on company safety policies.
Understand Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP) principles.
Facilitate specific safety training and attend pre-construction meetings.
Attend ESH departmental meetings.
