As a Safety Manager, you will ensure the safety of employees, trade partners, and the general public on our world-class projects.
The Safety Manager is responsible for creating a culture of care while enforcing Clark's Safety and Health Policy, as well as local and federal safety standards on jobsites.
This role leads employee safety education in partnership with project supervisors to develop safe work plans for all phases and tasks.

ResponsibilitiesDrive the Clark safety culture on a projectOversee and ensure the safety of employees, trade partners, and the general publicEnforce corporate and project-specific safety and health programs as well as federal, state, and local safety standardsMentor safety staff and assist in their developmentIdentify known or potential exposures and recommend corrective actionDevelop, coordinate, and implement overall project-specific safety programsPartner with field supervision to ensure safety hazard mitigation measures are included in the planning of project construction activitiesDevelop project-specific safety education for jobsite personnel, including subcontractors, based upon upcoming work activities or recent at-risk trendsDrive and create a safety vision and align the team to deliver and achieve a safe workplace for everyoneFacilitate third-party safety reviews including OSHATeach safety-related topics within Clark beyond your jobsiteAssist with business plan objectives and/or other corporate initiatives including OSHA, Red and Blue Alerts, and Corporate policies and proceduresProactively identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate and win the right workTake an active role in recruiting top industry talent to join the Clark team.
Identify, hire, and retain outstanding peopleExceed our stakeholders' expectations by anticipating their needs, desires, and goalsBasic Qualifications4+ years of relevant construction safety experience with an undergraduate degree in safety and health (or related discipline) or demonstrated construction safety and trade experienceAbility to communicate and influence supervisors, peers, and external partnersProof of training and experience in managing crane, fall protection, excavation, scaffolds, and heavy equipment safelyAbility to communicate effectively with, persuade, and gain buy-in from a broad range of stakeholders from a new craft worker to a senior executive leaderStrength in managing multiple competing priorities in a deadline-driven environmentAgile, energetic, data-driven approach to achieving individual and organizational objectives while balancing short-term and long-term goalsAlignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: self-motivated, results-oriented, adaptable, team player, accountable, ethical, innovative, resilient, builds relationships, builds people/teams and followership, sets direction and executesPreferred QualificationsOSHA 30 HourCHST or CSP1st Aid/CPR trainingClark offers a total compensation package that includes base salary, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, retirement/401k, and Company Contribution plan.

For this role, the base salary range is $83,200-150,000.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
