We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team at Ludlum Measurements (LMI). As the leading manufacturing company for radiological instrumentation, LMI is committed to ensuring a safe work environment for all employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a culture of safety. Key Responsibilities:Advance and improve the current safety program and policies to maintain compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations and industry standards.Lead the corporate safety committee while advancing the team's overall knowledge of industry accepted safety standards.Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.Lead safety training sessions and workshops for strengthening leadership's and employee's knowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, and the like. Improve and advance accident investigation skills and safety incidents, preparing detailed reports, and recommending preventive measures.Oversee Workers Compensation program for the business.Collaborate with senior and functional leadership, Engineering, Human Resources, and Maintenance to foster a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Environmental Health or equivalent industrial experience in a similar role.Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management within a manufacturing environment.Experience as the head of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) is preferred and leadership with growing and expanding a program across multiple divisions is a plus.Certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent is preferred.Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety regulations.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.Benefits:Competitive salary.Comprehensive health benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and certifications.Positive work environment with a commitment to safety.How to Apply:
