Position
We're seeking a driven, highly competitive Sales Account Manager to join Rocky Mountain Laboratories, based in Denver, Colorado, with coverage of toxicology accounts across the entire state. In this role, you'll take ownership of a fast-paced, challenging territory, leveraging your tenacity, strategic mindset, and exceptional relationship-building skills to drive business growth. If you have a proven track record of thriving in competitive markets and at least two years of sales experience—preferably in medical sales—this is your opportunity to join a results-driven team with uncapped earning potential.
Responsibilities Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies to capture and grow market share across Colorado's toxicology accounts.Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through persistence, creativity, and a solutions-focused approach.Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.Lead contract negotiations and guide prospects through the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing deals.Deliver compelling product presentations tailored to client needs, demonstrating the value of our services.Stay ahead of competitive market trends to anticipate client needs and gain a strategic advantage.Collaborate with internal teams to execute targeted campaigns and optimize sales efforts.Provide excellent post-sale support, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.Track and report on key metrics, maintaining accountability for achieving and exceeding sales goals.Other duties as assigned by management to support business objectives.Qualifications A minimum of two years of experience in sales, with a strong preference for candidates with medical sales experience.Demonstrated success in high-pressure, competitive markets, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.Exceptional negotiation and closing skills with a fearless, go-getter attitude.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust quickly.Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.Willingness to travel frequently within the state of Colorado.Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce for managing client interactions and tracking sales performance is a bonus.Knowledge of toxicology, molecular diagnostics, or laboratory services is a plus but not required.Education A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field is a bonus but not required.Compensation Salary Range: Base salary $70,000Bonus Structure: High performers are expected to earn six figures within their first year. The hiring managers, not the recruiter, will cover the bonus structure.Travel and Mileage ReimbursementIdeal Start Date: As soon as the right candidate is identified.Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
