Location: Chicago Area Preferred (strong remote candidates open to travel welcome to apply)
Role Overview: As a (Senior) Sales Account Executive, you will play a critical role in The CAM Collective's success by leading sales efforts for scheduled leads targeting homeowners associations (HOAs) and condominium associations (COAs) seeking new management solutions. Your primary responsibility will be managing and closing pre-scheduled sales meetings, with required travel to meet prospective clients on-site.
This role also offers the opportunity to collaborate with and mentor a team of 2-4 Business Development Representatives (BDRs) responsible for scheduling meetings and identifying leads. Candidates with leadership aspirations will have the chance to help shape the development of our sales strategy and team dynamics.
Additionally, you will work closely with senior management from member companies and The CAM Collective's technology and engineering teams to drive innovation and streamline sales processes.
Key Responsibilities: Core Sales Responsibilities:Own and manage the sales cycle from lead qualification to close in a timely and efficient manner.Use HubSpot CRM to track and manage leads, sales activities, and pipeline performance.Respond promptly to inbound and outbound leads generated through various marketing and referral channels.Conduct presentations, negotiations, and in-person meetings with prospective clients.Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients to cultivate new business opportunities.Partner with member company experts to coordinate on-site visits and craft compelling sales presentations and proposals.Report on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasts to senior management.Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.Leadership & Strategic Opportunities:Mentor and manage a team of BDRs to help them exceed performance targets.Contribute to the development and implementation of effective sales strategies, processes, and training programs.Foster a positive, collaborative team environment and promote professional growth and development.Play a leadership role in scaling The CAM Collective's sales motion into new geographies. Qualifications: Experience as sales account executive or in inside sales.Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Experience managing complex decision-making processes with multiple stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.Ability to work independently and manage time and priorities effectively.Proficiency in HubSpot CRM, auto-dialers, and other sales tools.Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.Preferred candidates based in Chicago; however, strong remote candidates open to travel are welcome to apply.[Preferred but not required] Proven experience in sales management.[Preferred but not required] Excellent leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
