The Sales Account Manager leads the growth of key accounts and expands our business. This role manages client relationships, identifies new business opportunities, and executes sales strategies. The Sales Account Manager is responsible for growing revenue, managing a portfolio of clients, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver results. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and satisfaction. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the polymer industry. Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to meet the company revenue goals. Build strong relationships with both new and existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact. Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive revenue growth. Collaborate with internal teams (product, sales, marketing) to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs. Track and report on account performance, review and analyze sales reports, use data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets. Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, building the company's brand and networking with potential clients. Stay current on market trends and industry developments to identify new opportunities. Ensuring that CRM (Salesforce) is reliable with current sales and customer information. Help create presentation decks and marketing materials for the sales process. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or Polymer Engineering. Proven experience in business development and account management, preferably in the B2B, industrial, or polymer sectors. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Ability to think strategically and drive business growth initiatives. Excellent negotiation skills and a track record of closing deals. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Ability to communicate with C level executives. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-growth environment. Strong presentation skills and willingness to present papers and presentations to customers and prospects and speak and present at conferences. Must be able to set travel plans and make sales calls within the territory of travel. Must be able to travel frequently (up to 50% of the time) with overnight stays as needed and be flexible with customers' locations. This is an Exempt position, requiring overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed to complete assigned work.
