Job Overview The Woodside Homes Sales Agent uses consultative sales skills to engage with prospects as a Trusted Advisor in helping them find the perfect home and in designing their "next best life".
The goal of a Sales Professional is to have an informed customer choose Woodside as their builder of choice.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Consulting with our customers in designing, building and the ultimate realization of their personal and ideal future lifestyle by using the Designing Opportunities Selling System of Woodside HomesProviding exceptional customer service before, during and after the home sale, through proven Customer Touchpoints and company service programsUnderstanding that our customers' perceptions are shaped by the quality of the customer experience they receive, as demonstrated through the THREE E's approach used at Woodside Homes (Ease, Effectiveness and Emotion)Prospecting new sales from a variety of resources such as client referrals, professional networks and leads generated by our marketing campaigns and Online Sales Professionals.Coordinating achievement of monthly sales goals with sales management and other departmentsSupplying management with feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and servicesUtilizing company training opportunities and to stay current in the industry through outside education. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Being a Trusted Advisor to the customer is essential, by assisting them in identifying the next decision to make in the buying process and to ensure they feel confident with their decision after the point of sale.Mutually exploring and resolving concerns for what the customer wants, in a way the customer appreciates.Demonstrating the models and options that will help improve the customers future lifeSupporting customers as they narrow down their home search while guiding them to a final purchasing decision.Following up with potential customers through Virtual, Remote, and in-person conversations and appointments.Attending Construction Touchpoints with customer as often as possibleExpediting the resolution of customer complaints and problems to maximize satisfaction.Proactive and scheduled communication with customer, including pictures and videos of their home and buying process.Achieving an exceptional customer experience involves seamless internal process adoption and execution.Processing sales agreements and electronic paperwork in a timely mannerUsing our sales tracking system (Sales Simplicity), and Hub Spot SystemEnsuring that the Woodside Homes community website is accurate and up to date with correct pricing, photos, maps, and directions.Analyzing competitors in the market, specifically their included features, options, pricing, and incentives.Weekly reporting to management and master-plan developers.Regular review of weekend signage, traffic pattern changes in the area and community ingress/egress presentation.Generating inventory home packages when requested.Weekly model maintenance reporting and follow-up.Weekly inventory home inspections.Weekly sales, mortgage, and escrow backlog meetings.Continuously improving through feedback. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: Generating referrals and leads through face-to-face marketing at community and Realtor events with potential customers.Reaching out to potential customers through cold calling.Giving presentations to groups on industry material, including management and sales meetings. KEY REQUIREMENTS: Must hold a valid and current AZ Real Estate License.Current working knowledge of construction is helpful.Knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting new home sales (i.e., Fair Housing, HUD requirements, etc.
).Excellent selling, communication, and customer service skills.Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.Demonstrated judgment and decision-making ability.Effective problem-solver.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong organizational and team-building skills.Reliable transportation.Ability to work weekends and holidays is required. QUALIFICATIONS: High-school diploma (college degree preferred).Two years minimum of New Homes sales experience in the area (in high-volume production homebuilding preferred) or equivalent experience in the residential resale market. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is primarily an active position, which requires the Sales Professional to have the ability to walk, stand and climb stairs in and around homes, models, and properties.The Sales Professional must be able to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 50lbs.The ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions are required.
