At Innovative Solutions, our Sales & Solutions Engineer team is the front line for helping our customers build out their cloud strategy, identify the right solutions, and align Innovative's resources as a trusted advisor. The successful Sales & Solutions Engineer will possess a broad base of knowledge in Amazon Web Services and Generative AI, combined with a passion for working directly with customers. This role involves close collaboration with our Service Delivery and Demand Generation teams to ensure a successful and seamless cloud journey for our customers. Responsible for: As a key member of our team, you will provide technical direction and leadership to drive the success of Generative AI, Data, and Analytics solutions for our customers. This role involves close collaboration with the Demand Generation and Inside Sales teams to identify and qualify opportunities, as well as engaging with customers pre- and post-sale to help them achieve their business objectives.
Opportunity Identification & Qualification · Collaborate with the Demand Generation and Inside Sales teams to identify and qualify potential opportunities.
· Engage with prospective customers to understand their business goals and challenges, positioning the appropriate Generative AI, Data, and Analytics solutions to address these needs.
Customer Engagement & Workshops · Lead technical discovery discussions during customer workshops.
· Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them on how cloud-based Generative AI, Data, and Analytics solutions can transform their business.
Solution Development & Proposal Delivery · Partner with Sales and Service Delivery teams to create comprehensive customer proposals.
· Ensure proposals include both technical solutions and clearly defined business outcomes.
AWS Expertise · Stay current with the latest AWS services and features.
· Communicate the value of new AWS innovations to customers effectively.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship · Provide technical guidance to other members of the Innovative Solutions team on Generative AI, Data, and Analytics topics.
· Collaborate with Account and Go-To-Market teams to design, build, optimize, and migrate applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
Architectural Design & Deployment · Lead deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS.
· Ensure that solutions are optimized for successful deployment and long-term scalability in the cloud.

What Experience You Need: Professional Background: · 5-7+ years in a presales role within a Cloud Consulting, Cloud Managed Services, or Generative AI SaaS provider.
· Proven experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or technical consulting in customer-facing roles.
Technical Expertise: · Hands-on experience with the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.
· Strong background in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, applications, and networking (5+ years).
· Familiarity with integrating Cloud services with on-premises technologies.
· Experience architecting and operating solutions built on cloud platforms.
Solution Selling: · Demonstrated success in selling and delivering technical solutions and consulting services to SMB and mid-enterprise customers.
Educational Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science or Mathematics, is preferred.
· This is a 100% in-office role based in Boca Raton, FL, requiring daily attendance at the office.
· Travel expectations are minimal, averaging 4-5 days per month, typically for visits to the New York HQ, customer meetings, and customer events within the Eastern and Central U.S. time zones.
Salary Range Salary range for this role is $125,000 annually. This position is also eligible for a commission plan, based on closed AWS project bookings. The expected annual OTE for this position is estimated to be between $175,000 - $200,000. Compensation Disclosure: The salary range provided is a general guideline.
