Title: Sales Assistant/Associate
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ months
Responsibilities:
•Fill in open territories as needed, selling service and maintenance contracts at required levels
•Selling of maintenance contracts through good customer service, value added benefits and on factors other than solely price
•Possess, or be able to learn, broad product knowledge of all elevator/escalator lines
•Make effective sales presentations over the phone and through video conferencing.
•Be able to work with and develop relationships within the organization in order to achieve results
•Understand service contracts in broad terms
•Escalate service issues through the organization to effectively resolve any problems and customer concerns.
•Assist with booking maintenance contracts
•Review and assign new accounts to the correct reps in our tracker
•Assist with finding ownership contact information for new buildings
•Perform follow ups to customers on behalf of the reps
•Review New Equipment turnovers to ensure that all warranty units have been initiated
You should have:
•4+ years of sales or elevator experience preferred
•Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
•Organizational skills to ensure timely follow-up and closure
•Ability to sell on factors other than price and a proven track record of sales success
•Patience, persistence, and persuasiveness
•Excellent typing and communications skills
Education / Certifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Sales, business, or related field
•Prior sales experience is strongly preferred
