We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Sales Associate and Delivery Driver in our Lake Bluff location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist all customers in a professional and timely manner upon them entering the retail store.Answer customer telephone calls promptly and in an appropriate manner per company guidelines.Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers with all product lines and services offered by the retail store.Assist store managers with outside sales calls when necessary.Determine a customer's needs by asking questions and listening to the customer's response.Suggestively sell additional merchandise to the customer assisting the customer in completing their projects.Actively participate in all provided training programs offered by the retail store.Maintain merchandising standards established by store managers and /or operational managers including product display sand promotional displays etc.Actively participate in store activities including stocking shelves, carrying merchandise out for the customer.Present a professional, neat appearance, maintain a good attendance record and arrive to work at the scheduled time.Participate in all daily housekeeping responsibilities that include interior/exterior maintenance, product organization, etc.Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in the retail employee handbook.Process all Sales transactions in a timely and accurate manner adhering to all operational procedures concerning transactions.Accurately complete all opening and closing procedures.Verifies load against shipping papers.Drives van to destination.Collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges.Responsible for proper handling of product to minimize damage to products.Responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and involving management to resolve customer issues.Maintains van log according to state and federal regulations.Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.Loads and unloads van.Inspects van equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, and spark plugs.Maintains a neat appearance at all times while on the job.Other duties as assigned. Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.Must have an MVR (Motor Vehicle Report) within established company guidelines.Previous product delivery experience preferred.Ability to lift, load, unload and move products weighing up to 75lbs.Ability to safely operate job related equipment (i.e.
hand truck)Good Verbal and written communicationsGood customer service skills.

$16-18/hr
