Being the Sales & Catering Coordinator at a Concord Hospitality hotel is key in the hotel's success because you are the direct link between the front desk and our sales team. As the Sales & Catering Coordinator, you will assist our incoming inquiry calls for groups and meetings, as well as support the sales team with contracts, room blocks, and communication with the rest of the hotel team to ensure our guests and clients receive exactly what we promised!
Key Role Responsibilities: Be one of the first points of contact for incoming sales & event calls, responding promptly and professionally to all internal partners and external customers.Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, and proactive planning, focusing on detail.Learn and use digital sales & events systems (i.e., Delphi, Digital Readerboards, PMS) and understand the hotel's revenue strategies (i.e., product pricing, budgeted goals).Work diligently to complete assigned tasks and responsibilities, including assisting with room blocks, reporting, client notifications of key dates, and other integral administrative aspects of bookings and events.Complete or assist with various aspects of pre-event, main event, and post-event details, tracking and communicating with internal partners and external clients.Prepare for and participate in all necessary internal meetings, conference calls, planning, and other communications required for this position.Effectively monitor and manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details.Gain knowledge of the hotel's food and beverage products, pricing, and presentation.Work collaboratively with the team, fostering teamwork and making decisions that align with the hotel's goals.Own your career development and advocate for training and job opportunities.Consistently attain sales & events activity goals and individual revenue goals.Carry out reasonable requests made by Management and comply with company policies and procedures.Minimum Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Prior Hilton experience along with Delphi knowledge is preferred but not essential.
