Overview The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth at Alta Vista Technology by generating qualified new sales opportunities through outreach to cold, warm, and inbound leads. They will execute a multi-faceted prospecting plan, identify key stakeholders, and support the sales team in building a robust pipeline. The SDR will be excited to understand customer problems and match them with the best software and services solutions. The SDR will develop skills enabling them to grow into an Account Executive role if they desire.
The SDR role will report directly to the VP of Growth Strategy. The role is primarily remote with the opportunity of a hybrid work schedule if the SDR lives near offices in Royal Oak, MI (Metro Detroit) or Mesa, AZ (Metro Phoenix).

What you'll do Prospect and Research: Identify potential customers through research, leveraging tools like LinkedIn, CRM platforms, and other prospecting technologies.Outbound Outreach: Execute outbound campaigns via email, phone calls, and social media to engage potential customers.Inbound Lead Qualification: Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and qualify leads based on established criteria.Discovery and Engagement: Understand prospects' needs and pain points to determine if they're a good fit for AVT solutions.Set Appointments: Schedule meetings for Account Executives (AEs) to advance the sales process.CRM Management: Accurately log all activities, interactions, and follow-ups in the CRM system to maintain a clean and updated pipeline.Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the marketing team to optimize campaigns and with AEs to transition qualified opportunities effectively. You should have 0-2 years in a sales or customer-facing role (B2B experience is a plus).Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.Familiarity with CRM tools and prospecting platforms.
