The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for outbound prospecting to generate qualified leads and schedule product demos for the sales team. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, resilience, and a results-oriented mindset to drive a high volume of personalized outreach while maintaining quality. Must be passionately curious, and driven beyond measure.
\n Key ResponsibilitiesHigh-Volume Outreach:- Initiate personalized outreach through multiple channels (email, calls, LinkedIn).
- Manage daily activity targets, including call and email volumes.
Prospect Research:- Identify and segment prospects that match the ICP (Ideal Customer Profile).
- Tailor outreach efforts based on research and segmentation.
Demo Scheduling:- Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to uncover pain points and align solutions, culminating in scheduled demos.
- Ensure handoffs to Account Executives are seamless and well-documented.
Pipeline Management:- Maintain an organized pipeline in the CRM, tracking engagement and follow-ups.
Required Hard SkillsOutreach Tools:- Experience with tools like Orum, LinkedIn, Gong, etc.
CRM Expertise:- Proficient in HubSpot for tracking outreach and reporting metrics.
Communication:- Strong written and verbal communication, including crafting compelling outreach emails.
Metrics-Driven:- Analyze outreach metrics to optimize strategies (e.g., email open rates, demo conversion rates).
Required Soft SkillsResilience:- Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
Relationship Building:- Skilled at establishing trust and building interest through brief interactions.
Time Management:- Capable of juggling high volumes of activity without sacrificing quality.
Adaptability:- Quick to adjust approaches based on prospect feedback or data insights.
Passionate Curiosity:- Love knowing how something impacts a business, and demonstrates curiosity around the depth of that impact.
Cross-functional Collaboration- Demonstrated ability to work well with others in early stages. The nature of an early stage start-up is very much survival mode, but that cannot negatively impact how you interact with others.
Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience in Fintech/Financial spaceIndustry Knowledge: Exposure to SaaS or technology sales cycles.Additional Outreach Techniques: Creative approaches to stand out in crowded markets, such as personalized video messages. Salary + Benefits:Salary: 56,000USD/year + OTE Benefits overview:·       Hybrid Work
·        Home Office Furnishing Allowance (One-Time Payment via reimbursement): $200 USD
·        Necessary equipment is provided by Proper (computer, additional screen, keyboard, mouse, if applicable).
