Job Summary: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at STS Education, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our reach within the K-12 education sector. You'll be the first point of contact for potential clients, helping to identify their needs and introducing them to our innovative solutions. Duties/Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads within the K-12 education sector, focusing on public districts, charter schools, and sometimes individual schools. Cold Outreach: Conduct cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to introduce STS Education's offerings and set up meetings with potential clients. Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making process. Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, ensuring timely follow-up and continuous engagement. Collaboration: Work closely with the Account Executive team to hand off qualified leads and support the sales process. Target Achievement: Meet and exceed weekly and monthly goals for lead generation, outreach, and appointments set. Market Feedback: Gather and share insights from your outreach to help refine messaging, product offerings, and overall strategy. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent sales and negotiation skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of relevant inside sales prospecting experience College degree preferred, but not required Understanding of K-12 school districts and key personnel preferred Familiarity with K-12 educational technology products preferred Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
