What you'll doAs a Sales Director, you will utilize first principles thinking and domain expertise to lead, coach and mentor a team of Senior Account Executives selling Brex solutions to prospective customers. Your team will produce new business financial & software solutions revenue for Brex.
ResponsibilitiesYou will lead a team of passionate, enthusiastic and successful people who want to be part of one of the most disruptive fintech companies on the planet.Build and drive sales strategy for the region in conjunction with Sales Operations to effectively Go-To-Market including understanding the competitive landscape, presence and strength within the region.Develop quota for the sales team and effectively communicate to set performance expectations within the team.Actively engage in relationship development, opportunity development and driving revenue by supporting and assisting Field Sales Teams in closing opportunities.Manage and report accurate forecast and pipeline to the business.Achievement of annual sales goals on a quarterly and annual basis.Build effective working relationships with Solutions Consulting, Marketing, our Partner community and Brex leadership team.Use your experience and consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with customers and executive sponsors.Employ effective selling strategies to successfully position Brex as a viable platform of choice to legacy Spend solutions.Develop relationships with multiple C-suite personas (e.g., CFO, Controllers, CIO, CISO) in assisting the sales pursuits.Help strategize the largest revenue opportunities at Brex.RequirementsPrevious experience in sales leadership, ideally focused on new business acquisition.Strong success in recruiting, coaching and managing an exceptional sales team.Extensive experience in carving out sales territories and quotas for the sales team.Strong strategic and analytical thinking, including financial planning skills to meet and exceed quotas and goals.Experience in driving sales process and drive effective working relationships with Sales Operations.Ability to understand the 'bigger picture' and business drivers around Spend Management space.Ability to adapt and work effectively within a rapidly changing and growing environment.Strong business and financial acumen.Experience building self-motivated sales teams that embrace a culture of collaboration, enthusiasm, and overachievement.Extensive track record of new business sales success including presentation and negotiation skills within industry and at C-Level.Ability to build long-term strategic and senior level relationships.Champion and promote top performers, constantly develop and coach the team, and topgrade appropriately.Proven partner relationships and networks and ability to grow the impact of revenue streams and territory development through the partner ecosystem.CompensationThe expected OTE range for this role is $289,280 - $361,600. The starting wage will depend on a number of factors including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. The OTE figure listed here includes base salary and commissions, which may or may not be earned depending on performance. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
