The Role The Director of Sales will play a pivotal role as a player-coach, combining hands-on sales expertise with leadership to drive revenue growth and mentor a team of Account Executives focused on value-based care buyers, including Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and Management Service Organizations (MSOs). This individual will balance strategic direction-setting with active participation in the sales process, ensuring that both team and individual goals are consistently achieved. The ideal candidate will excel in cultivating customer relationships, closing deals, and empowering the team to deliver exceptional results.

What you will do  Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Managers, ensuring individual and team performance aligns with organizational goals Personally manage a quota and actively engage in the sales process, including identifying, prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing high-value deals Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for both the team and individual contributions Establish and maintain relationships with key ACO and MSO stakeholders, fostering strong customer partnerships that contribute to long-term success Provide actionable insights to the team regarding market trends, competitive intelligence, and regulatory updates impacting the ACO/MSO landscape Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, legal, and implementation teams to enhance client satisfaction and drive customer success Drive adoption of best practices for sales activities, including accurate pipeline management and reporting in Salesforce Regularly review and refine team KPIs to ensure alignment with broader organizational objectives Act as a liaison between the sales team and executive leadership, providing updates on team performance and contributing to strategic discussions Represent the company at industry events and conferences, building relationships with potential customers and partners Who we are looking for  10+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 5 years leading and managing high-performing sales teams  Proven success in selling technology or analytics solutions into the healthcare industry, with a focus on ACOs and MSOs or other  risk bearing organizations Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and closing large, complex deals Demonstrated ability to lead a team in achieving or exceeding ambitious sales quotas. Deep understanding of risk adjustment, quality improvement, and the unique challenges faced by ACO/MSO stakeholders  Strong knowledge of value-based care, population health, and relevant regulatory requirements Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team development Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare executives and operational leaders  Proficiency with CRM tools and sales tracking software, particularly Salesforce. Competitive compensation package including base salary, commission and equity in the form of options. (Compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, and level of experience and role).
