No matter what team you're on, the work you do here makes a positive impact across the globe.  Rhombus is looking for a Sales Engineer who will be the main technical point of contact for prospects and help them with everything from account setup, technical questions, API integrations, and even build custom features to help close the sale. You will work closely with both the Sales and Engineering team to ensure all the technical needs of a customer are met both pre-sale and post-sale. We sell across numerous industries including Education, Technology, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, and more.
\n What You'll DoBecome the trusted technical advisor for the key decision-makers: CTOs, CISOs, and Senior Network Engineers Engage with sales managers to understand current deal statuses and next steps Conduct demos, POCs, managing relationship with multiple stakeholders, and selling to enterprise executives Leverage technical knowledge to overcome customer barriers and concerns Influence product direction with your unique understanding of customer needs Collaborate with support to accelerate product improvement Work with Project Managers/Operations team members in the execution of designed security solutions Prepare required project documentation (floorplans, scope of work, assumptions, etc.)  What We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking & IT Security or closely related field3+ years experience in technology sales or relevant work experienceGenuine excitement for software and hardware products and can speak comfortably about how they workAbility to clearly and efficiently articulate technical matters with customers and partnersExcellent account management, follow-through, and attention to detailEntrepreneurial and positive attitude with a strong desire to learnBackground in IT fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing/switching devices is preferred but not requiredExperience working with APIs, Python, and other coding languages is a plus
\nThis is a hybrid position based in Sacramento, CA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office as needed.  Estimated Annual Pay Range Base Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 Estimated OTE: $110,000 - $140,000 Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include uncapped commission, sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate's primary work/hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Further details about compensation for the role can be discussed during the interview process.
