Sales Estimator Location Mansfield, OH : Sales/Estimator J-Neal Construction, a growing Insurance Restoration company that provides quality construction and general contracting services, is looking for a result-driven/high functioning individual to join our team. JN Construction partners with Pro Clean CDRS to provide complete restoration services for our customers when they are in the midst of any fire, water or storm insurance claims. We also provide many other construction and remediation services. Our goal is to cultivate a culture that spills into our community with a "Two Companies - One Purpose" atmosphere.
Role Overview: Investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and resolves medium to complex level projects with occasional supervision. Complies with company procedures and insurance level requirements.Has vast Xactimate, insurance industry and overall construction knowledge.
A Day in the life of Sales/Estimator: ? Receives information regarding assignment details, schedules inspection, composesXactimate estimate, sending it to customer or insurance for approval (depending on nature of assignment).
? Manages all external communications with customers associated with the assignment; serves as the main contact with insurance agents and/or customers regarding the assignment status, decisions, and other related questions. Records and updates company software notes to reflect the status of the assignment; documents the result of external information gathering.
? Plans and manages the collection/evaluation of required insurance documentation, securing evidence to support coverage, and determining the extent of damages. Is able to write and document this in Xactimate/XactAnalysis and other company software (BuilderTrend).? Utilizes Matterport? Works in a team environment to promote and support unit, department, and organizational goals; communicates effectively, supports co-workers, and works with colleagues effectively and professionally. Assists other team members by answering questions that may arise in relation to the sales/estimating department - has the ability to problem solve.
You will also: 1. Attend weekly meetings to report on sales/contracted files. You are leading and driving this department.
2. Attend training as required by Third-Party Programs (ContractorConnection/Sedgwick/Alacrity/AccuServ) to meet insurance requirements.
3. Drive Third-Party Program scores
4. Will periodically handle a large volume of estimates/assignments during storm events.
You're a great fit for this position if you: ? Have a college degree or equivalent work experience.? Two years of previous insurance claims experience.? Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task; experience in a production environment where time management, workload prioritization, file management, record keeping, documentation, accountability, and follow-up are key priorities.
? Have strong written and oral communications skills.? Have strong investigation, reasoning, and listening skills.? Have a high level of organizational and decision-making skills.? Strong interpersonal skills for working with other team members, various insurance agencies, third-party programs and numerous other outside contacts and customers.? Experience using claims programs and technology such as Matterport, BuilderTrend,
WeScope, Eagle View, and Xactimate to write estimates (or similar softwares/programs).? Possesses construction knowledge.

Job Type: Full-Time (Expect to average 40-45 hours per week)
Pay: Offer based on experience
General Schedule (this is higher level position, so expect to work some on Friday's and additional hours during storm/emergency events) : ? 10 hour shift Monday - Thursday (6:30am - 4:30pm).
