Sales Leasing Specialist Sentral is establishing a new category in urban living that reimagines the way people live, travel, and work. This new category, called Home+, combines the comforts of home with the adventure of travel. Offering both designer furnished and unfurnished homes with flexible lengths of stay, Sentral enables residents to live or visit stylish buildings in the nation's most coveted cities for any period of time, whether a night, a month, or multiple years. Qualifying residents can also monetize their homes through Sentral's managed homeshare program, enabling them to offset 25 percent or more of their total rent while they travel and explore the world.

A Sales Specialist is the front line in assuring our customers feel loved from first point of contact, through the entire life cycle. Sales Specialists are empowered to guarantee a positive and fluid experience by working to save our customers their most valuable commodity, time. This especially skilled person is core to the overall financial health of each given community by leasing available homes quickly, to limit vacancy loss and at the highest net rent. Sales Specialists are also responsible for preparing lease documents and screening prospective residents to qualify them.
This is a remote based position that will be required to travel up to 10% of the time.
•First and foremost, this person will uphold Sentral's core and truest value of excellence in customer service
•Self-Motivation & Dependability: Sales Associates will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment
•Execute leasing strategies and directives to ensure proper presentation, pricing, and promotional activity across all Sentral properties
•Support communities by answering and assigning leads, scheduling property tours, conducting virtual tours and assisting with renewals
•Task force remotely for properties in need of additional sales support
•Liaison between centralized sales teams and community leasing teams
•Answering questions and finalizing terms of leases
•Be an expert on all Sentral communities. Sales Associates should be comfortable speaking about the differences between all communities and residences, and able to match/sell the right home to the right prospect
•Achieve weekly goals and be held accountable for goals and results
•Recording and updating details of prospective residents, residents, and guests into the property management software in a timely and detailed manner
•Establish relationship with prospects pre and post virtual tour by activating double closing techniques
•Completing lease applications and assisting with verification of application information and informing prospective residents of results
•Performing background checks, credit checks and other responsibilities to see if prospective renters are qualified
•Assist in monitoring renewals. Distribute and follow-up on renewal notices.
•Uphold Sentral standards, best practices, policies and procedures
•Follow all city, local and federal regulations
Skills and Experience
•High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
•A minimum of one-year experience in a customer service-related industry and one-year apartment leasing experience or a combination of accounting skills/education with customer service experience is preferred
•Must possess strong attention to detail and sales ability
•Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
•Great time management skills
•Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
•Computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related communication tools
•Working knowledge of Yardi systems
•Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances
•Participate in training in order to comply with new or existing laws
•Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
•Must possess a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances
•Neat, clean, professional at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community
•Demonstrate ability to diffuse and respond to customer concerns to avoid escalation of the problem
