Position Overview:
As a Regional Sales Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of sales representatives to exceed sales targets and foster a culture of excellence. You will play a pivotal role in hiring, training, and developing sales professionals, ensuring that they achieve top performance through effective coaching and mentorship. This role requires a driven, metrics-focused individual with strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and manage a regional team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales goals.Provide coaching and development, utilizing company training programs to drive high levels of sales performance.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure all team members are hitting their targets.Conduct regular ride-alongs with sales reps, offering feedback and development opportunities.Ensure adherence to sales processes, scripts, and customer satisfaction standards.Participate in recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new sales representatives.Collaborate with senior leadership to refine sales strategies and improve overall sales effectiveness.Foster a competitive, high-energy team environment with a "work hard, play hard" mentality.Manage scheduling and territory planning to optimize sales coverage and minimize travel time.Maintain a deep understanding of the home improvement industry and our product offerings to ensure team expertise. Requirements: Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the home improvement, construction, or related industries.Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a strong ability to motivate and drive teams to success.Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to develop both new and experienced sales professionals.Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decision-making.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Willingness to travel within the region and conduct in-field support for sales teams.Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred, but not required.
