We are looking for an experienced, motivating, and strategic leader to take our sales team to the next level.
As Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in building upon and maintaining the existing sales team and will be responsible for coaching and developing the team to ensure booking targets and annual sales plans are consistently achieved.
The ideal candidate has a strong track record of driving results, is a natural leader and coach, and has consistently demonstrated an ability to devise and deploy effective sales strategies.
Day in the Life
Oversee the day-to-day operations of a sales team, driving its results
Actively manage team pipeline and resulting forecasts to meet company objectives and profitability/revenue goals
Conduct weekly one-on-ones to provide deal-based coaching and sales process development for sales executives
Drive activity volume on prospecting efforts and current opportunities to ensure that sales executives are increasing pipeline coverage and conversion rates
Evaluate tools and processes to ensure the team completes their responsibilities as efficiently as possible
Guide deal negotiation, onboarding processes, and overall deal execution
Join and review client calls to provide assistance, feedback, and coaching
Recruit top talent, coaching that talent to be as successful as possible, and ultimately helping team members reach their career goals
Requirements
Must Haves
5+ years of sales experience in quota-carrying roles, with a minimum of 3+ years sales leadership experience (SaaS experience preferred)
A proven track record of exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual goals as both a sales leader and as an individual contributor
Team-oriented, motivating, and an effective communicator, comfortable holding sales executives accountable to organizational goals and targets
Ability to leverage data to identify and address areas of opportunity, formulating and presenting solutions and strategies effectively
Strong servant leadership and coaching skills
Commitment to making the right decision on behalf of customers and team members
Superb people/collaboration skills.
Able to prioritize and work cross-functionally across multiple teams, build trust, and influence all levels of the organization
