Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Mercedes Benz of North Haven. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the sales team and driving sales in our luxury automotive dealership. This is a full-time position in the auto industry, based in North Haven, Connecticut. This role offers a competitive salary with base pay and commission, as well as several benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.Compensation & Benefits:This position offers a highly competitive compensation package of $150,000 to $180,000 per year, paid on a weekly basis. In addition to base pay, you will have the opportunity to earn commission based on sales performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching plan, paid time off, and employee discounts on vehicles and services.Responsibilities:Manage and lead the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales goalsTrain and educate sales team on product knowledge and sales techniquesMonitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvementDevelop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market shareParticipate in sales meetings and collaborate with other department managers to ensure a cohesive and successful sales processWork with finance department to secure financing options for customersMaintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and resolving any customer concernsOversee inventory management to ensure appropriate stock levels and variety of vehicles for customersStay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in market conditionsContinuously develop and foster relationships with customers to drive repeat business and referralsRequirements:Bachelor's degree preferredPrevious experience in a sales management role in the auto industry preferredProven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targetsStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skillsKnowledge of automotive financing options and methodsProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM softwareMust be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordEEOC statement:Mercedes Benz of North Haven is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
