What does a Sales Manager do for Integral dx?
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy and managing a growing sales force with a strong focus on tracking and reporting sales activities.
As the Sales Manager, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include: Develop annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives.
Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices for their group of Territory Managers and sales staff.
Lead, grow and build a high-performance team of driven sales and service leaders and professionals.
Develop a strategic approach to growing revenues with existing customers and gaining share through new customer acquisition.
Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
Proactively introduce new ideas to drive growth, performance, profitability, etc.
Track, review, and analyze metrics of staff, records, and market to drive process improvement.
Maintain a level of competence on all product lines necessary to actively sell to key clients with and without Territory Managers and to serve as an escalation point as necessary.
Prepare quotes to meet specific needs of customer.
Represent company at trade association meetings.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience: Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills including presentation skills Proven ability to negotiate selling agreements Proficiency with Client Relationship Management databases Proficiency in Windows/PC based work environment, specifically MS Office Ability to interact at a management level with HR, Accounting, IT, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering and Quality is vital High school diploma or GED An undergraduate degree 3+ years of sales and sales management experience within an electronics and logistics environment
Or any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance
