A logistics company that specializes in international freight logistics is seeking a Sales Manager to develop new domestic and international clients and attain revenue goals for a given sales territory.
This is a FULLY REMOTE position that involves providing comprehensive transportation solutions, maintaining existing business volumes, and prospecting for new business opportunities.
The Sales Manager will market the company s transportation, warehousing, and distribution services, and report directly to senior management.
Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 / year DOE
Sales Manager Requirements: 5+ years of sales and management experience in the freight/cargo industry Proficiency in Word and Outlook High school diploma Valid driver s license E-Freight software experience preferred Adequate verbal and written communication skills Excellent networking skills and a proven record of sales success Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills Ability to work fully remote and travel as needed Currently resides in LA or New York highly preferable Sales Manager Responsibilities: Identify new business opportunities by cold calling and following up on sales leads Bring in existing customer base or established network and maintain current business relationships to improve profitability Build a pipeline and solicit new business opportunities Plan weekly sales calls and create a target sales list Assist with Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Participate in pricing analysis and sales presentations Attend sales meetings and participate in industry-related organizations Hit individual and team quotas Sales Manager Benefits: Competitive base salary + commission 100% medical coverage, eligible after 3 months 401(k) plan with 3% match, eligible after 3 months 10 PTO days + 5 sick days Travel reimbursement Company car will be provided, if needed All federal holidays off
