About The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our team! We are open on location as you will predominantly be field-based meeting with new and existing clients. You can be based in the North West, North East, Yorkshire, or Midlands area. You will be responsible for developing and growing Connectivity and Optical cable systems sales into UK customers.

A flexible approach will be required and there will be extensive UK and possible global travel.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow sales of Prysmian range of Connectivity and Optical cable system products.

Work with Connectivity and Optical cable engineering teams to develop new products to realise commercial opportunities.

Co-ordinate commercial/engineering responses to customer enquiries.

Manage and lead the preparation of major tenders.

Follow commercial/price procedures as laid down by the Commercial Director.

Provide in-country support for commercial and technical related issues.

Attend commercial meetings as required across the UK.

Assist with the development of marketing and engineering plans/literature.

Prepare and submit sales plans and budgets to assist with the development of the Management Plan and Strategic Planning Process.

Qualifications & Requirements

Ideally hold proven experience and success in a similar sales position within the cable or manufacturing sector.

Creative and innovative thinker.

Preferably experience in a technical background, however not essential.

Ability to formulate and implement dynamic sales strategies and make key business decisions.

Excellent and highly persuasive inter-personal skills and adept in building lasting and influential relationships.

Confident and self-motivated team player.

Possessing excellent communication and presentation skills together with strong organisational ability.
