As the National Sales Manager, you will be reporting to the VP of Sales, and will foster a fun, competitive and energetic work environment. You will

Summary/Objective:
As the Sales Manager of Shops & Salons, you will drive a professionally directed sales strategy aimed at creating new sales promotions to generate leads and closing net-new customers, while also focusing on an existing customer base for retention and expansion. As a pivotal member of our team, you will lead strategic sales initiatives, exceed revenue targets, and shape long-term growth strategies. Key Responsibilities:

Exceed Revenue Targets: Drive sales performance by surpassing planned revenue targets for division accounts.
Craft Growth Strategies: Develop and implement sales plans aligned with our business strategy, fostering synergistic relationships with customers.
Strategic Planning: Create long-range sales and merchandising strategies for the next 3-5 years.
Price and Promotion Strategies: Develop pricing and promotion strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
Collaborative Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a clear, consistent message to employees and customers and to develop selling, business & product strategies
Support and Training: Assist distributors and resellers with organization skills, account strategies, and deliver comprehensive sales orientation and training programs.
Market Analysis: Research and analyze market conditions to determine customer needs, competitive prices, and develop targeted sales campaigns.
Customer Engagement: Develop and deliver sales presentations, promotional plans, and deliver exceptional service to clients and end consumers.
Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains sales staff in the department.
Oversees the daily workflow of the department including staffing and scheduling sales staff.
Provides leadership and training to the sales team.
Motivates, mentors, and encourages sales team to ensure quotas are met.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. Coaching and Performance Management as needed.
Handles discipline and termination of employees and in accordance with company policy.
Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Extensive knowledge of sales management theories, principles, and practices.
Strong understanding of hair/beauty industry competitors and trends.
High level of Integrity, Accountability & Respect for others
Advanced skills in financial and analytical management.
Exceptional, positive interpersonal verbal & written communication and relationship management skills.
Proven ability to drive results through talent recruitment, management, development and team motivation, meeting & exceeding sales goals
Minimum 2 years Sales Management, leading a team of sales professionals
Tech Savvy (Microsoft 354 Office Suite, Teams, NetSuite or comparable ERP system experience.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full Time Exempt – Hybrid after completing the introductory period – M-F (some weekends required for customer events & travel)
Physical Demands:

Requires the ability to interact with others in a professional & positive manner, interpret spoken messages and utilize reason to resolve complex problems. Requires keyboarding, hearing and talking, frequent walking, and occasional bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, kneeling, being mobile on uneven surfaces. Requires occasional lifting and carrying of 1-10 pounds.
Travel:

Travel required for customer visits, seminars, and training.
Work authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to work in the United States of America
Compensation:

$90,000-$110,000 + Commission
