The Apartments.comSales Operations teamis looking for a self-starterData Analyst.In this role, analysts will be expectedtolearn essential business functions, develop key metrics, and deliver analyses and reporting that contribute to business decisions across the organization. Team members willbe requiredto work cross-functionally with management, analysts, developers, and product teams to meetobjectivesand deliver actionable insights to the business.As an integral member of our team, you willbe responsible forcreating the overarching data and reporting strategy to support the management and optimization of theApartments.com salesfunction andassistin improving the operations and decision-making of our business. An ideal candidate willpossessstrong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities in addition to strong mathematical, analytical, and data modeling skills.?The ability to manipulate large, complex data sets into manageable, understandable reports. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team-working skills. You should be flexible and able to work independently or in a team.?

Job Responsibilities:
Design/build reports, create models and analyses toidentifytrends and improve existing business processes

Build andmaintaincritical dashboards, reports and presentations that enable key leaders to understand, interpret and make decisionsquickly

Leverage a data first approach toidentifycritical business trends to deliver both insights and specific actionable recommendations to the business?

Dive into both quantitative and qualitative data to understand and prioritize strategic opportunities withregional sales leadership

Utilize multiple data sources (primarily MS/T-SQL) build datasets and perform ad hoc analyses that drive actionable insights for the business

Partner across departments toidentifykey information gaps and plans to provide or obtain that information

Identifies, communicates, and resolves data quality and data reconciliation issues

Serve in a consultative role with client to advise on best practices where appropriate

Experience:
3+ years in Business Intelligence and analytics experience.

2+ years of Power BI visualization and development

2+ years SQL Server experienceincluding query writing, datasetcreation;analytical programming experience

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to analyze data, interpret information and trends inlarge amountsof data to develop actionable recommendations

Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously and quickly adapt as businessevolvesandobjectiveschange

Proven proactive, self-starter with the ability to work both as an individual and within a team to resolve issues, createnew approachesto analyzing data, and drive decisions and consensus within the business.

Familiarity with data modeling software and Excel software

Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.
