The Sales & Pricing Analyst will support the national sales organization by providing daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting and analysis. This role will heavily use a combination of our internal ERP software and a third-party data collection software to generate reports from our database structure. In addition to data analysis and reporting, the Sales & Pricing Analyst will perform administrative tasks in the above software packages.
Role ResponsibilitiesProvide National Sales Team and Management teams with sales reportingDevelop monthly cadence of pricing specific measures to review (NBC, DA Budget, Price 2.0)Effectively launch, track, and monitor new and existing item price groups in Price 2.0 to ensure accuracy and completeness.Complete daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting via internal ERP systemProvide daily/weekly inventory reports for CA. Assist in tracking incoming purchase orders and open sales ordersUpdate internal ERP system – have a pulse on new hires/new accounts/account changesAssist in updating weekly CPR's – competitive pricing reportsProvide insight and analysis on sales trends – using Excel and PowerPointUse Sage data to find opportunity gaps for district managers/sales representatives/territories as needed by sales managementAssist in the development of sales goals and forecasts for the California sales team (monthly & annually). Assist in goal tracking and reporting, including monthly incentives and KPIsAnalyze top brand performance in Sage, highlight important up and down trends and recommend action where necessaryWeekly and monthly distribution (POD) reportingManage specific ad hoc projects from start to finish, representing the interests of Sales Management and Operations, such as applicable trackers with supporting SOPs to ensure teams in the future can replicate the taskUse third-party data and information systems to generate reports and perform general analysesBreakdown of position is 50% data management / 30% sales and pricing analysis / 20% reportingJob Requirements4 Year College Degree Required3+ years' experience in the CPG space (Distributor/Wholesaler/Supplier preferred)Experience in the beverage/alcohol industry requiredHighly proficient in Microsoft ExcelUnderstands how to use information systems – Sage X3 / Vermont Information Processing (VIP)Excellent communication and organizational skillsHighly motivated to learn new information systems and data structuresPay Range $75,000 - $90,000 USD
