The salary range for this position is $17.00 to $21.00 per hour.
Position Summary: The Sales/Quality Assurance Administrator plays a key role in supporting the Quality team to enhance overall quality and service within the company. This position is responsible for conducting comprehensive contract reviews, ensuring accuracy in specifications, purchase orders, and certification generation. The Administrator contributes to the success of the Quality Management System by adhering to procedures, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the planning process, and supporting the Continuous Improvement Program. Key responsibilities include maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Cost Estimating and Quoting system, managing quoting and estimating processes, planning, invoicing, and reporting research results.
Performs contract review through the comparison of customer requirements to internal documentation.Generate & review certifications prior to release to customer.Performs audits of 6S, quality and production processes.Generate and maintain part master, process master, process plans.Manage Quality logs and coordinate quality issues to closure in timely manner.Initiates and maintains improvement efforts. This may include key performance indicators, six-sigma efforts, and safety programs.Maintains records of Production Planning and Quality key performance indicators related to Route Card and certification generation.Assists in the troubleshooting of quality and operational issues.Assists in the review of specification, procedural and route card changes as required.Performs internal calibrations and periodic tests to ensure specification compliance.Assists Sales Manager to ensure that all proposals/RFIs/Early Bid Warnings/Risk registers are submitted in a timely, professional manner.Prepares cost estimates / quote by analyzing proposals and requirements.Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.Generate and maintains cost and profitability data base by entering and backing up data.Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.Read and interpret documents written in English such as procedure manuals, work instructions, software manuals, warehouse work orders and inventories.Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Experienced with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel preferred.Communication, computer literate, contract review/quality assurance practices, detail oriented.Why Magellan?
