Sandblaster

IMMEDIATE job opportunity for a driven individual who has a proven track record of performance and desires to work for a well-established organization. We are looking for an experienced Sandblaster for a great international manufacturing company located in Costa Mesa, CA. 1st shift Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives parts.
Picks up parts with forklift from degreaser.
Operates sandblaster to sandblast parts.
Fills washing machine reservoir with water.
Checks sand levels.
Controls air pressure.
Blows parts clean with air gun.
Set parts outside sandblast booth.
Tapes threads use heat resistant tape for thread protection.
Plugs openings prior to sandblasting surfaces.
 
QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES:
Some experience operating sandblasting or related painting equipment.
 
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret painting instructions.
Ability to communicate and work cooperatively with co-workers.
Ability to operate forklift truck.
Able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Knowledge of material specifications and sandblasting methods and techniques; and
 
Special Requirements:
