Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement necessary BW data models• Promote and enforce BW best practices and standards• Manage BW development projects• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for all SAP BW systems and components• Analyze and configure the BW data environment for customized reporting and data analytics• Devising processes to minimize data quality risks and identify potential data issues• Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to gather requirements• Troubleshoot data load failures and resolve transport failures• Address system performance issues• Other assigned duties as needed
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field• Minimum of 3 years experience in SAP BW, including implementing large-scale reporting projects• Minimum of 2 years experience in development of InfoCubes, DSOs, InfoObjects, Multiproviders, transformations• Knowledge of BW Security and SAP BPC functionality• Experience with ABAP and writing User Exits, Routines, Enhancements, and creating Generic extractors• Experience collaborating with business analysts and process owners• Prior experience in production support and troubleshooting data load failures• Ability to work collaboratively across teams• Time management and prioritization skills
Key Skills Needed
• Experience with BW on HANA, HANA Views, and modeling• Knowledge of extracting data from SAP ECC into Azure Data Lake• Proficiency in creating pipelines in Azure Synapse and utilizing Notebooks in Databricks• Exposure to Azure DevOps functionality and coding in Python
