SAP Data Analyst Location: Mundelein, IL (Hybrid, Tues-Thurs Onsite) Duration: Long-Term Contract (1-2 years) About the Project: This is a long-term opportunity to join a leading company in the healthcare and manufacturing industry to assist in an internal initiative aimed at standardizing all manufacturing sites onto the same SAP instance.
The focus of the role is to ensure seamless data flow across multiple SAP modules, such as BOM, material master, and routing.
You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data mapping across all manufacturing sites, supporting the goal of uniformity across the company's SAP landscape.
Key Responsibilities: Understand SAP Data Flow: Work closely with the team to gain a deep understanding of data flow within SAP modules, including BOM, material master, and routing.
Data Mapping: Handle end-to-end field mapping, ensuring that all data is correctly mapped.
Identify and resolve issues in the data mapping process, leveraging your knowledge of SAP's data flow.
Troubleshooting: Proactively catch and fix any mistakes or gaps in data mapping by understanding how data is structured and flows through different modules.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and IT, to ensure that data is consistently mapped and accessible.
Testing & Validation: Participate in testing SAP data flow processes and validating data quality during the Unify project.
Long-Term Contribution: This is a 1-2-year project, with potential for involvement in other initiatives.
Qualifications: Experience: At least 5 years of experience working in SAP data analysis, with hands-on knowledge of modules like BOM, material master, and routing.
SAP Expertise: Strong understanding of SAP data flow and how different modules interact within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with SAP S4/Hana is a plus.
Data Mapping: Proven experience in field mapping and resolving data-related issues within SAP.
Manufacturing Knowledge: Experience working with manufacturing data such as material numbers, production versions, inventory, and BOM is essential.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and troubleshoot data mapping issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams, understand business needs, and communicate technical details effectively.
Location: Must be local to Illinois and able to report to the office in Mundelein, IL on a hybrid schedule (Tues-Thurs onsite).
Contract Duration: 1-2 years with potential for involvement in other projects within the company.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with large-scale SAP integration or standardization projects.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and data related to production versions, material master, and routing.
