Newmont's industry leading performance is reflected through high standards in environmental management, health and safety for its employees and creating value and opportunity for host communities and shareholders.About this roleThe Senior Manager, Integration bears overall responsibility for integration strategy and governance across SAP and other global systems, as well as for developing an integration roadmap focused on identifying opportunities across Newmont to create a lean, modern and robust integration footprint. This role shall lead the design and implementation of integration solutions to enable reliable flow of information across the different applications, ERP and data warehouse, and actively communicate the enterprise integration strategy through development of blueprints, roadmaps and presentations.. This person must have an established history of successful process improvements and innovation.Your role will consist ofStrategicLead teams to deliver high quality well architected solutions based on best practices.Develop and grow the existing integration team into a high performance, efficient and effective team.Provide coaching, mentoring/guidance and leadership to all developers (internal employees and external contractors) on-site as well as off-shoreManage and provide guidance to project resources, including third party partner consulting resources, onsite and offshoreDevelop a roadmap to rationalize and standardize interfaces across the organization.Responsible for the architecture, strategy, design and roadmap of all integration patterns - Application, EDI, Data and Process integration, ARIBA integration patternsDefine the roadmap for SAP CPI, evaluating emerging technologies, cloud services and integration patterns to optimize integration capabilities and support evolving business requirementsTacticalOversee the design and implementation of integrated solutions for connecting SAP systems and third party applications, databases and services ensuring data integrity, security and complianceProvide leadership to integrate to cloud application-enabled solutions.Support estimating, scoping and sequencing of projects across cross-functional teamsImplement global development standards and procedures for the process teamsImplement solutions using a SOA approach including defining service security, use of service registry and governance processesAdminister SAP CPI environment, including configuration, monitoring, and support of integration flows, to enable seamless data exchange and process automation.Ensure adherence to all internal/external audit and SOX IT controls related to SAP developmentOperationalLead integration development efforts, including the design, development, testing and deployment of integration scenarios using SAP CPI and other integration technologies, to meet business requirements and project timelines.Actively monitors performance of interfaces to ensure continued reliability of information flow. Provide recommendations to improve the efficiency and reliability of existing interfacesPrioritize work of direct reports and oversee the quality and appropriateness of the work performedLead ongoing operational support, maintenance, updates and continuous improvement of interfacesEnsure interface development initiatives are well managed and deliver on expectations - functionality, timeliness and costAccountable to complete the planned execution of SAP solutions roadmaps and enhancementsTroubleshoot production issues and conduct root cause analysis.Ensure adherence to all internal/external audit and SOX IT controls related to SAP developmentYour training, skills, and experience checklistKnowledge:Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent is requiredStrong knowledge of S/4HANA and its functions. Strong hands on CPI/PO integration and middleware toolsStrong understanding of integration concepts, protocols and standards, including REST, SOAP, OData and EDISAP Certification in Integration or related areasExposure to cloud computing applications as applicable.Complete understanding of B2B and A2A exchanges (synchronous and asynchronous)Applicant is required to have a strong development and applications backgroundExperience:15 years of technology, people management and related management experienceMinimum 10 years of experience managing complex cross system integration SAP landscape/environment that supports core business functions like finance, procurement, plant maintenance and supply chain, in accordance with SAP and industry best practices.Minimum 10 years' of industry/consulting experience with SAP platforms, applications and technologiesExperience in participating in transformation initiatives for mid to large scale organizationExperience in driving business process improvement initiativesMining, construction, utilities or other heavy industry experience is preferred.Skills and Abilities:Must have strong business acumen. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
