The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience with development, maintenance, and support of applications related to SAP ECC 6.0 or higher, SAP S/4 HANA with latest versions and other IT systems and will also possess solid communication skills across all organizational levels. This is a remote opportunity with the client site locations in both Reston, VA and Denver, CO.Duties and Responsibilities:This SAP Developer will be responsible for performing the following activities including:Reviews and understands customer requirements and specificationsInterprets business requirements and implements the necessary technology to fulfill requirementsDevelops the critical components of the solution, including but not limited to security rules, infrastructure, custom adapter implementation, and application interfacesWrites increasingly complex code to create single-threaded or user interface event driven applications, either stand-alone or those which access servers or servicesDevelops code necessary to complete the assigned project(s) in the specified time frame according to departmental standards and guidelinesLeads and participates in code and design reviewsDesigns and ensures unit and integration testing is completed to ensure qualityWrites, modifies, and debugs software for client applicationsArchitects and codes multi-environment system solutions utilizing various programming languagesProfiles, analyzes and optimizes the software he/she is responsible for implementing. Employs best practices for design, development, unit testing and test plan developmentActively participates in the documentation of software requirements, functional design, flowcharts and diagramsSupports completed software throughout the Software Development Life Cycle and in productionProvides support for the build of RICEFW itemsRequired Skills:Must be a U.S. CitizenHigh degree of initiative, creativity, and technical ability to successfully function on this team is requiredRequires bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10+ years of SAP development experienceDemonstrated experience with development, maintenance, and support of applications related to SAP ECC 6.0 or higher, SAP S/4 HANA and other IT systemsPractical experience with programming Function Modules, Object-Oriented ABAP, BOR, User Exits, Workflow, Enhancements, Reports, Dialog Programming, Webdynpro, LSMW, Data Conversion, SAP interfacing technologies (ALE/IDoc, BAPIs, flat-file interfaces, PI/XI, SOAP, XML, Webservice, Proxies, APIs, REST services), ABAP Floor Plan Manager, ABAP on HANA and using Eclipse.
