School-Based COTA Opportunity in Richmond, CA Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. Key Responsibilities: Assist in conducting thorough evaluations of students' motor, sensory, and functional needs. Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist (OT). Provide direct therapy services to students, supporting their educational goals and functional independence. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure consistent therapy integration. Caseload: Approximately 35 students Grades K-12 Qualifications: Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Valid Georgia state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
