Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist Key Responsibilities : Assessments & Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills to identify needs and develop personalized goals. Therapy Plan Development: Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) that address specific student needs. Direct Therapy Services: Provide both one-on-one and group therapy sessions to enhance motor coordination, handwriting, sensory processing, self-regulation, and other essential functional skills. Collaboration & Support: Partner with teachers, special education teams, and families to ensure therapy goals are seamlessly integrated into daily classroom activities and routines. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with school policies and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications: Education: Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Licensing & Certification: Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist and certification from NBCOT. Experience: Prior experience in pediatric or school-based therapy is preferred. Experience in developing IEPs and working in multidisciplinary teams is a plus.
