Job Title: School Psychologist Location: Liverton, CA Start: 24/25 School Year Job Type: Onsite, Full Time Caseload: K-8th Job Overview : As a School-Based Psychologist, you will be a vital member of our educational team, dedicated to enhancing the mental health and academic performance of our students. In this role, you will deliver psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to address a range of emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges within the school setting. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to design and implement strategies that create a supportive and positive learning environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing individualized plans that cater to the unique needs of each student, ensuring they receive the appropriate support to succeed both academically and emotionally. Responsibilities: Evaluate and screen students to assess cognitive, academic and social-emotional and behavioral needs Write evaluation reports including all cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavior assessments and goals Work in conjunction with the IEP Team to create IEPs for annual reviews and provides input for students who are involved with the three-year re-evaluation Provide consultation to classroom teachers pertaining to student progress, behavior management techniques and establishing individualized behavior management plans Participate in special education meetings Experience: Previous experience in schools or pediatric offices preferred.
