Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists (Clinical Fellows and ASHA-certified practitioners) who want to make a difference in their local communities! Soliant has partnered with a school near Michigan City, IN, and is seeking a contract SLP for the upcoming school year. This is a moderately sized District with a population of 6000 students. Current contractors at the District tell us the administrators are supportive, well-organized, and prepared to meet the needs of all students. Duties include: Providingspeech and/or language therapyto students identified with communication disorders. Maintaining accurate service records of students on caseload Evaluatingstudentswith suspected communication disorders; making recommendations for speech and language services as needed Providingcomprehensive written report of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within the standards established by state guidelines Developing speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs Developing integrated goals with other education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities. Consulting with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development, or other areas of curriculum related to speech and language. Participatingin the Medicaid billing process for school-based services as directed.
