Responsibilities: Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students needs Provide direct therapy to students, individually and in small groups, to address speech and language goals Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each students educational progress Document and monitor student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights on speech and language goals and progress Educate school staff and families on strategies to reinforce speech and language development Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of speech-language pathology practices within a school setting Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements Strong organizational skills for maintaining detailed records and reports Positive, student-centered approach with a commitment to improving student outcomes
